10 Years of Westwood Mix

I first started hearing this style of music in the Spring of 2022, but didn’t know what it was called. I poached a SoundCloud mix from a bar in Montreal, and then a few months later my buddy Jason showed me some fire tracks. 
Within a week of discovering that it was called "amapiano,” I had produced this mix. I kept tweaking it for a few months and pretty much finished it back in January 2023. But it’s taken 8 months for me to finish the artwork. I custom designed the font and a big thanks goes to my friend Erynn for helping to finish it.

Well, festival season is officially over. I'd like to give a massive shout out to everyone who booked me, bounced with me and made this summer so awesome! I got to play a lot of different sets over the past few months, either day or night, with Philly or Illvis Freshly. But at The Womp I got to play  Saturday at midnight. All by myself. "10 years of Bliss Coast and the journey goes on. Each year has been a monumental effort and my long-term goal to achieve 10 volumes comes to completion with the release of Muse & Marvel. Over the years many fans have told me how much they still love volume 1, Grass & Gospel. Coming in from the beaches of Tofino B.C Canada, Wave Dalton has been bringing the good vibes to dance floors around Vancouver Island and beyond.

He's had the opportunity to share stages and support acts such as SKIITOUR, Lazy Syrup Orchstra, Moontricks, Mat the Alien, Mt Doyle, Dunks, Father Funk, WBBL, RUMPUS, Leland River,  and many other of the westcoasts finest.

Recently performing a vinyl 45 set at Shambhala's legendary Fractal Forest stage for the Sunday afternoon Funk Jam, hosted by the Smalltown DJ's and Skratch Bastid. 
Skratch Bastid declaring on the mic,
 "This is Waves first funk jam and if he keeps bringing records like these it won't be his last!" 

His sets are filled with Funk, Disco, House, and Hip Hop, he's notorious for fusing genres together in his own unique style.

Always keeping the ear guessing and the dance floor moving hes been gaining notoriety playing gigs all over Vancouver island and beyond.
