"questions" is a song I wrote a few years ago that's looks in to the concept of time and how we use it. Inspired by a past relationship, with a person whom suggested the idea. It also addresses my own personal self doubt. All in all, this song is to help relate to those living through similar circumstances who may ask themselves these same questions. Long story short, as cliche as it sounds, you really can do anything you put your mind to so long as you try, and keep trying, no matter what anybody thinks or says, even if you fail. 

Now my question to you is, after listening to this song, who am I?

"answers" is a song I wrote in 2016. To date, it's my most vulnerable and open joint ever written. The details within are part of the reason for my absence from music. Discussing, primarily, death and losing friends and even straining personal relationships due to my own sense of "pride" being in the way. It's written in the form of a letter with the first verse being addressed, specifically, to a great friend of mine and the second being more of a conversation with God, or any higher power you may believe in. I was battling a lot of other personal demons at the time and a lot of heavy drinking was involved at the time of the songs inception. The song was recorded with, Watch City DJ, Kasz and it was important that the recording felt very raw and very real with how I was feeling as well as what I was dealing with personally at the time.

C.R.E.A.M. (2012)

One of the founding members of Elgin, Illinois' own Watch City and sighting influences ranging from the Wu-Tang Clan to Pink Floyd, Dave Stone is an emcee and producer hailing from the North West suburb of Elgin Illinois, which is just a 30 minute drive away from the Windy City.

He's currently hard at work on his debut LP, tentatively titled "Saints, Prayers & Hennessy", which is due to be released in 2017.
