No introduction needed for this soul train classic by Kool and The Gang. I have been messing with it for some time now trying to make a modern DJ friendly version and thought it would be nice to share. Initially I made the sorter 'hip cut' for me to play and mashup crossing over from soul and hip hop to disco but then I realized I could not do without the magical ARP synth solo so thus the 'extended version'. It took a while to tame and make it work and now here it is. Enjoy this fine piece of music and Merry Xmas peepz !

New Jersey's DJ Dave Davis has been a well respected DJ for over four decades. World Renown DJ's such as Tony Humphries, Timmy Regisford, Merlin Bob and Shep Pettibone were his influences and helped shape his unique style. Affectionately called " DJ Dave D'' got his start in local night clubs and venues in 1982 and is a self taught DJ. He has made guest appearances at some of the tri-states legendary hot spots including Club Elevation (NJ), Club Zanzibar (NJ), Club Cheetah (NJ), Club 88 (NJ), China Club (NY), Filter 14 (NY) just to name a few. In 1992 until 1994 he became the resident DJ for 98.3 WNMS FM's "Club Mix Show" & "The mix @ six".
