The first hour of this mix sees me delivering my usual combo of slowed down upbeat bangers followed by James as he transforms cosmic disco, dark disco, funk and italo, into modern grooves suitable for every dance floor.

Andrew Weatherall was a main influence for the Something Spæcial series from the get-go, so here finally is The Robot Scientists tribute to one of the most influential, creative, productive, classy and original producers we know. We decided to pick the tracks, remixes and co-productions from him we love most and put them in almost full length into a slowly developing, slowly grooving pretty long mix that pays complete respect to the meticulously drafted tracks and all their fantastic details mainly from his A Love From Outer Space years 2012-20. It is a homage just as a monument we hope for his creative output. Enjoy the ride.
