Kicking things off is Gotta Believe, a high-octane slice of New York-style vocal house thats tailor-made for peak-time action. Anchored by a tough, rolling tribal groove and laced with a bold, defiant vocal, the track channels the energy of early 2000s Twilo and Sound Factory floors. Its big, its brash, and it bleeds confidence. Mike Kings taps into that classic-meets-street tension and twists it into something modern. Flip over for Who I Am, a deeper 10 minute journey that simmers with low-end pressure and rhythmic swagger. This ones all about the after-hours; hypnotic drums, ghostly vocal chops, and a head-nodding pulse that creeps under the skin, especially when the piano and pads knock at your door. Charismatic Welsh singer-songwriter Rachel K Collier presents her debut self-produced EP ‘Words You Never Heard’ on the effervescent Love & Other imprint. Swinging between styles of indie, house & experimental pop, Rachel brings an emphatic mix of honest, high-quality headphone cuts each with their own distinct flavor. 

Relating to themes of love and disconnection, the ‘Nothing Is Forever’ collaboration with DJ S.K.T boasts a clean-cut combination of gentle downtempo house with swooning vocals and a heart-rending melody, whilst jazz keys and bouncing bass pave the way before ‘Moth’ is formed upon a motif of temptation.

Next up is title track ‘Words You Never Heard’, a weightless symphony of love and emotion exploring a statement of intent with its impassioned vocal reverberation, conveying cyclical guitar and synth themes with an offbeat percussive headspace. Meanwhile ‘Squares Into Circles’ sets a grooving, full-bodied bassline under a rich and sultry vocal performance.

After being wowed by Christian Smith&#8217;s superb remix of Carl Craig&#8217;s &#8216;At Les&#8217;, the legendary Underworld listed it as one of their tunes of 2010 thereby planting a seed in the veteran producers mind.

A mutual appreciation and the aforementioned events have resulted in Smiths biggest remix yet the reworking of Underworld&#8217;s seminal Dark &amp; Long.

Coming in two versions, both of which have won immense support from the band themselves, the Christian Smith remixes of Dark &amp; Long take the track in to new territories respectfully and skilfully.

The Tronic Treatment mix preserves the vibe of the original perfectly while adding a condensed but slow burning feeling of tension which explodes into the epic break we all know and love.

The Hypnotica dub version underpins Karl Hydes classic vocal refrain and the rich synths of the original with an ever-changing, guttural monster of a bassline that adds a whole load of understated aggression without ever taking over the wonderful melodies.

John Digweed: Taking on such a classic track is no easy task but Christian has stayed true to the original and brought the track bang up to date with enough subtle elements and tweaks to make this rock the dancefloors all over again. A festival classic for 2011

James Zabiela: &#8220;Christian has turned out a another amazing rework of a classic and an all time favourite track of mine in &#8216;Dark &amp; Long&#8217;. Usually I&#8217;d say &#8220;Leave it alone&#8221; when it comes to messing about with classic records but when the Tronic Treatment&#8217;s are involved I know these gems are in safe hands. This is an absolute monster just in time for Ibiza&#8221;
