It's a hit! So well received as a Snack in December, garnering press from Pitchfork, and heavy supports from Annie Mac, and the BBC Internationally, we had to gather remixes from some of our favourite producers of the moment. Londoner (by way of Italy) His Majesty Andre gives the royal treatment, following up last summer's smash 'Sunshine'. Colorado's Wuki uses signature sounds and strong bass groove to deliver a classic electro tinged mix. Rounding out the package, hotly-tipped Los Angeles based duo Bixel Boys take us to the club, via the big room, with some class. Lighters up! It's time for a kayper.

Kayper is an internationally renowned DJ & Producer from the UK. Very few Dj's can transition from club sets to high profile festival performances, and her limitless skills have earned Kayper a cult following throughout the underground, mainstream dance and urban music scenes. With residencies and headline shows at some of the world's biggest clubs, from Ministry of Sound London to New York's SOB's; and her festival appearances including headlining The Neon Carnival at Coachella. Winner of the Best Club DJ at the London Club Awards 2012, she is also one of only a select few British DJ's to have a regular residency at LIV in Miami, and the only DJ to headline the Fontainebleau Party alongside Drake for NYE 2013. Not bad for a girl from Croydon!

Welcome to the world of Drone, a London-based label founded by producer, artist and Death In Vegas guiding light Richard Fearless. An outlet for dancefloor distortion and other musical explorations. Created in the Metal Box, Drone will release oscillations in many forms. 

For this, the debut outing Richard Fearless lays the mandate in the form of Higher Electronic States - proto-techno, peaktime acid. Analogue electronics, hammer-horror strings underpinned with drums to blow apart any floor. This is music made for very dark, smoke filled rooms with absurd lazers.

Crème Organization & M>O>S Recordings mainstay D’Marc Cantu picks up remixes duties on the flip toning things down in tempo but certainly not tension. This is deep, brooding, suspense filled slow-motion techno creating a wholly satisfying first taste of the meal that is Drone.

goes into the next round and continues from where it stopped with the longplayer „independent dancer“, namely songwriting, where the singer legitimately is part of, where the groove declares its love to the melody and the singing. somehow dancepop, just following the own rules. „hello asshole“ comes with a crispy swinging groove, which is almost a breakbeat and the sounddesign sweeps splendidly. and then this compelling guitar riff appears and together with the voice and a bold synthi-line, it lifts us to new heights; right where you just drift away, big number, somehow stoned, but still kicking. jimi jules is a true musician, who prefers recording everything by hand, just like kalabrese, and sings himself, when he’s in the right mood and has something to say. currently he’s busy recording his debut album, trying to express himself and refining his style. jules is one of zurich’s up-and-coming talent and already had a bunch of releases, no matter if techy, housy or some kind of dancepop, this boy rules.

The b-side’s „kafi-lied“ is an ode to the coffee drinking. taking time in the morning and starting the day with a relaxed mood. and the voice of sarah palin, singer of the rumpelorchester, gives the song the energy to gleam over everything to passionately throw oneself into the day and fall in love. Once again a strong performance by the zurich vocalist, the soul breathing just like fresh coffee flavor. The rumpelorchester guys join with a „rumply“ choir and kalabrese adds the white milk froth with the right groove and his characteristic analogue synthi pads.
