Well I checked into my room it was a quarter to nine.
I had a few drinks so I was feeling fine.
And all I wanted to do was to party down.

Well I had to pretty up so I could see the town.
I'm in the Crescent City so I'm counting down.
And then I saw the sign up on the wall
