Here is my annual end of summer / fall chill mix

So, this one night about 6 weeks ago (must have been right after shambhala.... yep) I was feeling a bit somber and  started layering a few pretty ambient sounds together with no intention of making a full length mixtape. After that night I had about a 20 minute mix going so I decided to stick it out and continue layering, but with some vocal bits and guitar things. Eventually I ran out of music to use in it but was really happy with the outcome of this mix. It's a little bit chiller and more atmospheric than my usual chill mixes, and I added some raw acoustic twangs and toned down the rave. 
So here it is.

I put this set together in a few hours, so its more of a playlist/collection rather than a mix. Instead of emphasizing beatmatching, I soaked the transitions in reverb and delay for the lazy approach. I found it to be quite effective and it actually really suits this type of music. 

This is kind of a sequel to Archipelaglow, having emotionally uplifting and satisfyingly lush songs with mind altering power and uncomprehending beauty. 

Headphones are recommended for this one. So sit back and enjoy.

Poblano

Volume 2 is here and I decided to make it a big epic 90 minute journey. It starts off cool and collect with some indie slow jams, melts into to some chill rock, acoustic stuff, then gets alternative and even downright emo at some parts. I said it.
