This week's episode of IMMERSIVE on Humans Radio features a very special Guest Mix by one of the most skilled, humbled and passionate DJ's, El Paso's very own Genesis.

Genesis is a DJ from El Paso, Texas who has been passionate about music since she was a child. She began creating mixes in her bedroom and has since made her debut with Flavor Core Records. She's determined to bring a unique sound to El Paso and is excited to see what the future holds.

Growing up, she was heavily influenced by Trance, Progressive, Deep House, House, and Techno. She has since been inspired by the likes of Marsh and Simon Doty, Dosem, Hot Since 82 and the record labels Anjuna Deep and Drumcode. She's passionate about her craft and loves to explore new sounds and genres. She has a knack for creating unique sets that combine her favorite styles of music. Her sets are always full of energy and emotion, taking her listeners on a journey.

IMMERSIVE EP. 11 POPPA D

This week's episode of IMMERSIVE on HUMANS Radio, we feature a very special and spectacular Guest Mix by the talented and humble IAMSVRP!

iamsvrp (pronounced “I AM SURP”) is a DJ hailing from the rainy city of Seattle, Washington and has been residing in the city of El Paso since Fall 2023! 

His love for electronic music stemmed from over 10 years ago, when he accidentally stumbled upon Eric Prydz’s dance music classic, Pjanoo (pronounced "Piano"), while on a trip with family. His infatuation for dance music has flourished since then. His main influences include Eric Prydz, Cristoph, Charles D, Joris Voorn, Layer J, among many others. 

His work on the popular electronic music forum 1001tracklists goes unnoticed and he has been ranked amongst the top of the top 50 users of the site over the last two years.

In addition, iamsvrp has played a multitude of shows in the El Paso and Seattle areas, and has had his own work supported by Cristoph, Ev Rymd, Melih Kor, VORA, Bud Cahill among many others. 

His sets are guaranteed to take people on a journey through the world of Progressive House & Techno, hoping to showcase some incredible artists & music that his audience may have never heard before. You’ll never know what you’re going to discover!

Jose Portales, also known as HZY, is a DJ and producer based in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX. He crafts a hypnotic, dark, and melodic sound within the genres of melodic techno and progressive house. HZY seamlessly incorporates trance elements into his music and DJ sets. He has released tracks on FlavorCore records and has numerous projects in the pipeline.

HZY has supported globally renowned acts such as Morten, Grammy-nominee Matt Lange, Orjan Nilsen, Arctic Moon, and Bryan Kearney. He has also shared the stage with prominent headliners like Bassjackers, Henry Fong, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Oliver Smith, Sunny Lax, John 00 Fleming, John O’Callaghan, and Sander van Doorn. His performances span multiple music festivals, clubs, and venues across the southern coast of the US, from Texas to Orlando/Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Currently, HZY serves as the resident DJ/producer for NRG Music Events in Fort Worth, Texas.

This week's guest mix for EP. 017 of IMMERSIVE features a rockstar of a DJ from Dallas, TX - LoverBoi

LoverBoi is an emerging force in the electronic music scene, captivating audiences with his distinctive blend of house, bass house, and techno. With almost two years of DJing experience, he has quickly made a name for himself in Dallas-Fort Worth’s vibrant EDM community. 
His performances are a dynamic fusion of energy and rhythm, drawing inspiration from the NJ club scene and the high-octane atmosphere of music festivals which has given him the opportunity to open for artists such as Blossom, Borgore , Cazes and more.
Influenced by the pulsating mixing techniques of James Hype and the gritty basslines of Chris Lorenzo, his sets are known for their infectious groove and relentless drive. As a part of the crew GONERUDE he joined forces with Noodz and Mursa to bring the rude sound wherever they go. In this mix you can expect a mix of hip hop and house that they like to call “rude house”.

As he ventures into music production, LoverBoi is set to expand his creative horizons and continue delivering unforgettable experiences on the dance floor.

This week's episode of IMMERSIVE Featuring Vozz Rich ! 

Vozz Rich is a house music producer currently based out of Dallas, TX, Vozz was born and raised on the border of California and Mexico, picking up a lot of latin influence that resonates in his love for electronic music.  In addition, he comes from an entertainment family going back 3 generations, as his grandmother was an actress and a singer in South Korea. So its clear to see that music has always been a part of his life as a young child playing guitar, piano, and drums. 

Vozz studied music production and learned to DJ on vinyl and began his artistry as a ghost producer back in 2012, mostly on the side while working full time in the software industry. In 2020, he dived in to building his own name by writing his own music and DJ’ing full time. The rest is history! 

His biggest influences have been Bob Sinclair, Tiesto, Sonny Fodera, Camelphat, Anyma, Carlita, and Solomun to name a few.  His favorite genres to produce are Latin house and Melodic house as they offer the most creativity, innovation, and opportunity to use classic elements!

EP. 018 VOZZ RICH

🚨 IMMERSIVE EP.019 featuring Guest DJ Marak  from Croatia! 🚨

Marak began DJ’ing in 2020 when he was first exposed to dance music at a festival. He was backstage in the dj booth and witnessed how the DJ pumped up the crowd and had them dancing and having fun. It was from that moment he knew he wanted to become a DJ!
He bought his first controller and immediately started to work on my skills starting with house and EDM music. His idol was James Hype, as he fell in love with the way he manipulated songs and merged them into each other. 

After practicing House music for about 2 years, he began making TikTok videos of doing tricks on his decks, and once he discovered hard techno, he absolutely fell in love with it. He then started a trend on TikTok where he would do hard drops with 1 hand and people absolutely loved it!
