There has been so much tragedy, so many broken lives and hearts since the outset of the war in Ukraine. In the earliest days of the conflict, a Kiev family was brutally attacked whilst trying to flee the city; most, including Polina, did not survive. To reflect on one particular instance from the enormity of grief in Ukraine is, I sincerely hope, to give focus to it all.   

So, in memory of Polina (aged 10), her family and so many others who have lost their lives in Ukraine.

For Polina: Till Tears Run Dry

This is the first song that I have recorded with my HeadRush Looperboard. I layered four separate acoustic guitar parts using a Taylor Koa 214ce. I then added Latin Percussion Conga Drums, Teak Shakers & Meinl Bongos using my old Yamaha MD4s minidisk recorder. Now, I have remixed this track by adding my Slingerland Snare Drum with Wire Brushes and Zildjian Constantinople Cymbals.

1年半くらい前からピアノを練習しています。
「これなら弾ける!!ジャズ・ピアノ」という本に載っていた、北島直樹さんが編曲した「Moanin'」にチャレンジしました。これは昨年録音したものです。
ちょっとミスっています(^^;)
ここを発表の場にして、もっと上手くなっていきたいと思いますのでどうか応援してください(笑)

I've been practicing piano for about a year and a half.
I tried ``Moanin''' arranged by Naoki Kitajima, which was featured in the book ``You Can Play This! Jazz Piano''. This was recorded last year.
I made a little mistake (^^;) 
I would like to use this as a place to make presentations and become even better, so please support me (lol)
