"In my new mix I wanted to create a fitting combination of dub and dreamy tracks with funky influences. I use a lot of tracks that have just been released, but also tracks that have been in my record case for years and are always special to me. Summer Breeze (Day Mix)

Raw recording on Thursday 19th January 2023, great fun night full of optimism and top class music live @ Café Bakeliet, Rotterdam, Netherlands. What an amazing bar vibe and record store Micha has created there since I last saw him in his native Amsterdam in 2019! It's really worth a visit for anyone.

Picture taken out of a taxi window in downtown Rotterdam on my way to see Micha, where he awaits spinning delicious, trippy trip-hop vibes on a wooden stool. Perfect craft beers, cloudy Dutch wines and other local delights were served up over the 3 hours, amid philosophical chats about life, earth, geopolitics, the end etc... don't expect the smoothest of mixing. You can't have it all!! 🤣 

The next night I was very happy to meet Alessandro Crimi and Ruben from Stately Records there for some drinks and spliffs before the Saturday session where we all descended upon Amsterdam to see, hear and feel the amazing event with https://soundcloud.com/dubtommy1, https://soundcloud.com/statelymusic, https://soundcloud.com/alessandro_crimi and https://soundcloud.com/rogergerressen.

Recorded Live @ The Backroom, a small, intimate venue hidden behind one of Osaka's most respected Record Stores, Compufunk Records...   

The sound was wicked, you could feel and hear every detail in a track...  
I played for 6 odd hours to a room full of dedicated Techno Otaku's, who allowed me to DJ a very free, and indulgent set...  

I love playing in Japan, as their crowds allow you to explore your musical whims, to a depth that very few clubs in Europe truly experience...  

There are several Trax you will know, plenty you won't, as I played numerous 'Mong Trax' edits, and a few exclusive, unreleased 'Dubs' that I was Testing out for future releases...

We did a party in memory of a dear friend of ours, Bob De Rosa, recently. Bob was one of the great unsung heroes of the early tech house scene in London. And even though he wasn't as well known as he deserved to be in the world at large, he was loved by all that knew him, immensely popular and a real father / brother figure to many of us. This is my set from the party.

This week we welcome another Lobster Theremin affiliate in the guise of Grant! He's put together an ultra deep heatwave house mix for us that will have you leaving your desk and heading straight out to the nearest park or poolside to enjoy it properly!

Speaking with the main man he told us that he's got an upcoming album for late 2019 + another Grant ep & a camarade ep in the works. Also worth keeping an eye out for are a remix of a track by Malin Genie & Selidos coming out in November on berg Audio which you can hear in the mix ;)
