A group called Sound Women has been set up in order to raise the profile of women in radio. The Sound Women group is supported by a host of successful female presneters such as Annie Mac, Lauren Laverne and Victoria Derbyshire. However, the figures of women working in radio make surprising reading with only one percent of radio editors being female. So why aren’t there as many women in radio? Dave Weston investigates
