Orginally composed for the Western Washington University Jazz Band in 2004, 'Afro-Cuban' adapts the standard blues form to latin rhythms, setting the stage for wonderful improvisations by John Croarkin (flute) Tarik Bentlemsani (acoustic guitar), Ariel Calabria (electric guitar)as recorded live in the studio at Evergreen State College in 2011.  Cooper Schlegl appears here on bass, and Daven also takes a chorus on acoustic guitar.
