Dreamlogicc - Fleetingly Jazzist (Shine Grooves Twisted Remix)

This track was written in collaboration with Scott Radke a few days ago. 

Scott and I met back in Mpls in 1997 and began writing experimental electronic music together under the names Deputy and Olson & Radke. In Feb of 1998 we released our 1st record together on Hipass, a vinyl label we started on a credit card and a desire to get our music heard.

Over years we released dozen or so records together gaining a lot of momentum in Europe and here in the US. 
14 years later Scott has moved to Milwaukee and we've started writing again together. This track is an example of what we're creating.

Scott Radke and I had initially sketched out a basic template for this track a few weeks ago. We were going for a sloppy funk electro feel, Kraftwerk meets Madlib but ended up shelving the idea after a few hours. This morning as I woke up the loop was in my head so when I got to the studio I was inspired to add on the lead synth parts and sketch out an arrangement. The vocal sample is courtesy of freddy fresh, who shared his massive sample library with is. Although I have no idea where the vocal sample came from, knowing freddy  I'm sure there's a good story behind it. I hope you enjoy it.
