The original release of Oliver Dollar & Jason Hodges ‘Don’t You Lose Hope’ dropped on Industry Standard in April this year to much acclaim, being one of the biggest releases to date on Oliver’s label… So we thought this one deserved some remix love!

First up comes Dallas’ deep house legend JT Donaldson. An artist who has kept up a constant flow of top quality deep house productions for well over two decades. Following on the heals of a recent Classic Music release JT delivers us a super slick deeper take on the original, using his signature drum programming, some additional keys & the original vocal to take his version into a new realm. This oozes quality. 

Next up we welcome the Brooklyn’s Barcelona resident Ralph Session, who takes up his New York house influences and delivers the more upbeat remix on this package. His version packs a punch with some sublime disco string stabs and jackin beats that instantly lift this record to a floor bomb. Peak time house music with some extra disco goodness.

Finally we bring in the UK’s Lewis Boardman, an old friend and label mate of Oliver’s, who freshens up the package taking the track in a completely different direction. This one is a crunchy, wonkier number with a lead synth line that arrives like something from a Green Velvet sound bank! It’s for the late night sets, when you need to send the dance floor to a different dimension. 

It’s a pleasure to welcome three more outstanding artists to Industry Standard.

Tensnake's approach to both music production and label-management has always straddled the gap between being 'tongue in cheek' whilst also remaining incredibly effective at getting dance floors whipped into a frenzy. His label True Romance has evinced this over the years with an extensive catalogue of fun, jubilant dance music. 

Next up on the label is an EP from Toulouse based artist - a fresh face in the True Romance catalogue; Dan Corco. Dan Corco's been bubbling away and steadily making waves with releases on labels such as Rubsoul, Too Many Rules and Downtown Underground. 

His latest EP 'Burn After Reading' speaks straight from the heart of True Romance and makes a perfect addition to the catalogue - it's a straight up Disco / House crossover packed full of cheeky loops, bumping drums and a balmy atmosphere. 

Truncated Funk samples tumble through bongos, thick claps and nifty filter control. The tracks are sequenced expertly - keeping the feverish tension up and keeping the feet on the floor.
