We came across this little sauce pot after munching on our magic kind of biscuits at a bad ass daytime party in the second city, and the resident Manchester's intimate T-pot party, and regular at the infamous Below daytime raves tore the roof off the place and we have to tell you, was the star of the show alongside Dyed Soundsystem and Jordan Peak to name but a few!

With some 'serious' tracks lined up on Illusion for 2012, were making Jonny one of our one to watch, and definitely one to hear!

Biscuit Disco | 0004 | Dave Thatcher

Dave Thatcher is fast becoming one of the most respected and talented DJs to break into the Midlands clubbing scene in recent years. His proven ability to move any crowd and his reputation, have earned him sets and residencies at some of the Midlands’ most prestigious clubs. His remarkable knowledge and passion for house music have not gone unnoticed, setting him apart from his peers and earning him a dedicated following wherever he plays.

From an early age Dave developed his love of house music and after discovering Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on Radio One he was hooked on house music. He started his DJ career at the age of 16 when he got his first pair of decks and started experimenting with different styles of house music. He drew an early influence from DJ’s and producers like Steve Lawler, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez and Danny Rampling. His first public appearances were DJing at parties around his local area. He has since gone on to hold residencies at clubs/nights such as Glas, Gatecrasher, B1, SOUP and IF in Birmingham and also WWJD and De:funkt in Coventry and Tantalise in Solihull.

Dave’s now vast experience has given him the ability to adapt to any crowd and most genres of house music. His sets are never predictable, he will often mix in classic tracks or his own re-edits and his seamless mixing helps create well-programmed and upfront sets. His passion and love for the music is evident in his charismatic performances and interaction with the crowd, and while putting in his next mix he will certainly be dancing around behind the decks. These factors have proved his ability, gaining him recognition and have made people stand up and take note.

Over the years Dave has been selected to play alongside credible Djs and producers such as JAMIE JONES, HOT SINCE82, WAFF, CLAUDE VON STROKE, DJ SNEAK, EATS EVERYTHING, SONNY FODERA, NO ARTIFICIAL COLOURS, MENDO, KERRI CHANDLER, RAMON TAPIA, MATT TOLFREY, JUNIOR JACK & KID CRÈME to name but a few. His two biggest moments to date were when he played for The Gallery at the iconic MINISTRY OF SOUND nightclub in London and playing in Ibiza at Carl Cox’s night at Space where he played alongside Uner and Umek. 

In 2015 Dave Thatcher will be continuing with his residencies and looking forward to playing at new venues across the U.K and abroad. He will also be progressing in the world of production so watch this space!
