In 2007, The Smoking Rocks were asked (and fairly well paid) to do a cover of Natalie Cole's "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)." The cover was to be used in commercials for an adult dating web site which parodied the eharmony commercials that featured that song.

I did the tracking in our 10x20 metal and concrete mini-storage practice room. We likely tracked drums and bass live, then overdubbed guitars and vocals later -- likely on a pirated copy of Cubase running on my desktop computer.
