Floating Machine é um projeto de António Lourenço. Nascido em Coimbra - Portugal. Desde muito jovem sentiu-se apaixonado pela música. Interessado em tocar muitos instrumentos como guitarra, piano ou saxofone e fazer parte de alguns projetos experimentais.
Mais tarde, influenciado pela música electrónica, iniciou a sua atividade como Dj. Explorando toda a diversidade musical da cena electrónica, desde sonoridades mais relaxantes ou mais dançáveis, como acid jazz, dub, deep house, até ao techno e progressivo.
O início da produção electrónica começa mais tarde, usando todas as suas influências musicais, explorando as paisagens de sons experimentais, ambientais e também o techno com alguns grooves progressivos.
Tem participado nestes últimos anos em festivais como o Boom Festival, Freedom e Zna Gathering...

FLR03 - Floating Machine (LIVE)

Floating Machine is Antonio Lourenço, a portuguese producer within the experimental ambient techno scope of sounds. He gathered influences from Jazz and Ambient to techno, with Psychedelic and Hypnotic soundscapes. Learned and played regularly instruments like guitar, piano or sax and took part in some experimental projects in distinct areas like jazz, funk or reggae.
Influenced by the electronic music, start to produce, exploring these early influences into techno context and also leaning deeply into the palette of ambient experimental sounds
Boom Festival, Hadra, ZNA Gathering, Freedom Festival, are some of the events where Floating Machine has performed.
You can find his music on Bandcamp, or labels as Digital Diamonds, Techgnosis, Electrik Dream, Mindspring and Blind Arc. Using music to connect and communicate, taking the listener to adventurous and unpredictable aural journeys is what he is intended with his productions.
