Antibubbles was a band from 2008-2013. I played guitar and sang. A bunch of other people were involved too at varying times, but our "all-star" line-up (2011-2013) was Seth Beard on drums, Anne Tomasevich on synth/vocals, and Joe Csurpek on bass/vocals. This recording is from our show at the Layabout in Durham, NC on 8/5/11.

Bach and chiptunes go hand in hand -- every time.

In January 2019, I collaborated with choreographer Renay Aumiller (https://www.radances.com) to create a modern dance piece. I wrote a program that prompted the audience to contribute a list of body parts and dance qualities, and then fed that creative input into an algorithm to randomly generate a series of short dance vignettes.

Each vignette featured a body part and a movement idea contributed by the audience, as well as a short piece of music to accompany the music.  Renay improvised modern dance movement on top of this, to sometimes poignant or comedic effect.

I composed the musical backdrops in Alda(https://alda.io) and my program cross-faded them dynamically, according to the randomly generated length of each vignette (30-90 seconds). For this recorded version, each backdrop is played for 30 seconds before cross-fading into the next.
