AUDI003 - Ernesto vs Bastian "Who's The Starter 2012" Originally released in 2003, this was one of the biggest trance records of that year. This was the very first record Tiesto played on his very first Tiesto In Concert in Holland (2003) and played by every dj in any genre in the summer of that year. If you listen back to the track, you can probably hear why; the strange bassline, the atmosphere, the strings and especially the break with that lead synth, voice and the drumloop which was played by a real drummer. Now in 2012, Bastian decided to dust off the old tapes and remixed all the seperate tracks from the original record on a real analog mixer, to give it a special feeling 2003 vs. 2012 feeling. Including a Paul Trainer Remix with major support of Marcus Schulz. Davis Asprey, Raneem and Jonas Stenberg remixes. Enjoy!

Known for his warm-up sets at The Gallery, Turnmills during the golden era of London clubbing, he shared lineups with Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Paul Oakenfold — shaping nights with depth, restraint, and emotion.

As a producer, his melodic and spacious sound has found homes on Baroque Records, Discover Deep, Anjunadeep, Solaris, and Alter Ego, with releases like The Road to March and Q.E.D. defining his deeper, more cinematic take on trance.

Now in 2025, Dave is set to return — with new music coming soon, a brand-new track signed to Azure Recordings, and more releases set to follow.
