UNDERTALE Flowey Possessed Sans Theme V1

1982 Revisited again. We’ve also re-worked Hogg’s riff from ‘Even If You Dream', which he co-wrote with Jack Hues back in the Huang (not Wang) days. Never happy with the way that song turned out so we’ve taken a different approach to this funky riff. Any long march requires pacing. Initial enthusiasm or fear needs to be calmed if you’re to make it to the end. This is true whether you’re seeking safety and shelter (thinking of Gaza and our Irish forebears), remission from illness, taking the long march through life in general, or that longer, seemingly impossible haul towards the end of capitalist hegemony. We dedicate this stompy disco march to Antonio Gramsci and all political prisoners, therefore.

The Long March

Marabi O'Hare: born in Cape Town but of Irish and Breton origins. Keyboard player, trombonist, former civil engineer (failed), merchant seaman, Celtic activist and teller of tall tales about his sojourns in New Orleans, Liverpool, Macau and psychiatric hospital.

Tommy Hogg: sax player and clarinettist with Don Rendell's Big Band back in the 1970s, before joining the original lineup of Huang Chung, jumping ship when they sailed West and went Wangy. Anglo-Irish Republican. Retired Professor of Music & Multimedia at the Royal College of Music, an institution for which he has barely-concealed contempt.
