Here is a remix I did of the oldskool techno classic "Sonar System"
by Meng Syndicate. This was originally released back in 1992 on Music Man records and also HitHouse records. It was played out by all the top d.j's and heard at my most warehouse raves and clubs.

Replicant Humanity 

Take some ass kickin DnB drum loops , slow them down to 135bpm , add some filtered effects , chuck in some synthesised basslines and leave to simmer. In the meantime grab keyboard and record some pads , synth leads and other weird and wonderful noises , garnish with effects and season with some vocal samples from an old sci - fi classic. Throw them all together in a virtual DAW mixing pot and leave for a few hours to blend. Remove , master and serve online ...

Well I finally got to do a track with Martin Reed aka Tophonicus and what a tune we managed to create together. It started off as a funky house track with a bit of sax but evolved into a more jazzy breakbeat synth infused tune with a touch of piano and some kick ass funky guitar. We also threw in some catchy vocal samples too which give it a nice touch ... A new track featuring a recognisable vocal sample that's been used on previous tracks by Orbital and Opus III and a few others.  The song was originally written by English poet and musician Edward Barton and first recorded as an acappella in 1983 by an artist called Jane.
