This is my tribute to a master.

When I say master, I mean it literally and in two senses: master of the craft, and teacher. I didn't take formal voice lessons until I was 17. I learned breath control from Bill Withers, tonality in my baritone and falsetto from Phillip Bailey and Maurice White, emotion in soprano from the Stylistics and putting a lil' stink on it occasionally from David Ruffin.
