This song is an anthemic ode to the overwhelming sense of nostalgia widely held by the 20-somethings of this decade. Feel-good EDM dominated the party scene for an entire generation in the mid-2010s, and this record pairs modern-day sentiments and instrumentation with reminiscence of the music from people’s happiest memories. After Drew Taggart and his manager liked the demo, I decided to run promo on Instagram and TikTok after release in order to make this record a popular sound.
