I also wanted to test using @Apple #LogicPro new #Step Sequencer and #QuickSampler so this was a perfect opportunity.

mind the gap

This was the first track I created back in 2017 using Apple Logic when I first started experimenting with music.  I'm a graphic designer so this is a brand new world for me and I'm finding how similar editing video and images can be with making music

It probably needs some mastering but I wanted to track my progress in audio skills - this is the exact music I created years ago

So excited to enter the Sonixinema “Kaleidoscope Scoring Competition 2023”.
While most people will be composing a film-score style piece, I wanted to practice making an electronic beat, but using all the amazing experimental and orchestral software instruments from Sonixinema.  I also wanted to build my Ableton Live skills, so what better way than to score an entire 1minute 45 second experimental / electronic track entirely using Ableton Live as my DAW.

For this track I used Abstract Springs, Contemporary Soloist Bass (Gipsy PIzz), Abstract Sticks, Sirens (Shakes, Breaths) , Contemporary Soloist Cello (Warped Sustains), Primal Textures (Decimation + Battle Drum), Abstract FX, Resonate (SD Bowl) , and samples from the Kaleidoscope Scoring Competition YouTube video

For the #music today I used the new Meld Ableton instrument device and Beta tested the new public Beta of #Ableton 12.

For #audio I once again used a few of @productions_zvon #movie #samples from the #SciFi #MemoryCollection.

For #video I played with #adobe #AfterEffects  #Radiowaves and #Turbulent Displace #filters and some 1950s pubic safety #PSA #filmreels
