Off The Wall (Cover)

This is a gospel melody treated with a modern jazz reharmonization approach. This was just a reharmonization experiment I was conducting last Fall. Take a very familiar song/melody and see if its possible to to apply harmonic treatment to it? Can it feel like a different song altogether that can stand alone with or without the familiar melody? I might make a few musical purist upset with this one. Keep in mind, this was just a music experiment!!!
