Here’s another one I taped at Miss Whiskers on the same night as the last tune I posted (“All the Things You Are”) from the ’red cassette’; a little gem. The tape is around 40 years old so please excuse some edits I had to do to remove a glitch or two. This was earlier in the night and set, as you can hear Lenny ask, “is our drummer here yet?” So it’s Lenny, w/ Richard on bass, with Jimmy Bryant, Bill Lawrence and others in the audience and things not chaotic yet. Lenny was in good spirits and having some fun. I recall him doing this tune more during these early days (1976-77) than later on, but forgot I had it on tape, so I was especially happy to find it… especially with Lenny singing! Anyway… a little treat: “On the Sunny Side of the Street”.
