Apologies for the quality of this recording! It is of the finale from Reubke’s 94th Psalm played by the late John Scott on the previous organ in St John’s Cambridge. He recorded it for a Radio 3 broadcast along with the Pastorale by Roger-Ducasse aged 18 in his first year as organ scholar. The BBC crew turned up an hour late and told him that there was only time for one take. Typically for John it wasn’t a problem.
