Flicker And Fade

I spent the days "in between the years" (as germans say, they mean between christmas and new years eve) in Austria, close to Salzburg on a small farm and on two days we were driving to the mountains close to Berchtesgaden. I love the mountains, they are soothing giants, they make me (and also my problems) feel small and the hight and oversight gives me clarity. While we were walking I was recording some stuff - it's the background which I use for the lyric video. 
This song is meant to strengthen all of us (me included) in pursuing what we wish for. I personally struggle hard with following my wishes, I always find responsibilities or other bullshit reasons why I shouldn't do what I deeply wish for - for example being more of a musician and less of a music teacher and music school leader. I guess life is a journey to our core and I wrote this song to remind me that following our dreams leads to wisdom - we will start living our true life and the experiences we will make on that way will shape us. 
I wish you a good start into 2022. Let's begin to trust ourselves.
