In his latest musical endeavor, "Disappearing", Danish electronic musician Mathias Hammerstrøm, under the alias Amphior, embarks on an introspective journey where the tangible dissolves into the ethereal. Following his 2022 release, "Another Presence", Mathias delves into mesmeric spaces characterized by melodious pianoworks warmly infused with the nostalgic tones of tape machines, guitar pedals, and retro amplifiers. As the luminous glow of analog synths intermittently bathes the listener in a comforting warmth, the enchanting piano melodies journey deep into the depths of the subconscious mind, evoking hazy memories of days long gone. Across 11 tracks, the music fleetingly weaves through moments of hope and despair, blurring the line between reality and illusion - all of which is encapsulated in the album title, "Disappearing".

"The album is a meditation on anxiety and the longing for a time when it had less sway over me."- shares Mathias. "Reflecting on my childhood, I remember how playing the piano was deeply meaningful to me, and crafting "Disappearing" felt like reconnecting with my younger self through the music."
