The Right Real Reason Live Wintermoon

After years of searching for meaning in existence, I had finally relaxed. It had taken its toll - mentally and spiritually.  I had gone as far as I could, and things were getting peculiar and particularly uncomfortable.  

The acceptance of the unknowing came much later, but I had come to understand that what I had experienced was nothing more than a projection of my internal world, until that fateful day.   

10 years…   

Suddenly, everything came back to me. I was not even given a choice - it was scary and beautiful at the same time. 
All of the fear and all of the wisdom, simultaneously flooding my brain and body to the point of nearly becoming overwhelmed.  

But I had experienced this all before so it wasn’t completely unfamiliar.  

Good and evil - were absolutely real. Not only within each of us, but also operating externally, influencing those who were susceptible and even possessing the vulnerable.   

I was particularly vulnerable at this time, observing myself here in a possessed state, not quite lucid but aware of what was occurring. There were a few others in our physical reality being puppeteered, working together seeming to try to take something precious from me. 

It stayed for some time, luckily I was given the utmost care from someone very special to me. If not for that, I fear I may have been pulled under. My soul taken into the darkness for eternity, and perhaps my physical body too.    

I never thought I would be here again. Education and experience had taught me enough that I could put it down to some sort of fiction…   

But it came back, and I’m still not sure how or why. 

Throughout these years of exploration, a vision of a word that I could hear and see but not speak, was often running through my consciousness, I couldn’t catch it for a long time.  

Finally, one day I managed to write it down and with much patience, I could say it out loud.

As I first pronounced the word out loud, by myself in a quiet space, a foreign voice in my head that I had never heard before, confirmed my achievement with a simple “Yes”.

Welcome all to the next edition of Cheney's Pie. Thought I'd get a look in on behalf of the reef to let people in on the poison ladder of greed leading to Dick Cheney who with his poison policy pen gave the leg up for coal seam gas to be void of environmental checks or Scrutinizing.
Why ? 
The money grab that followed at the expense of our water reserves, health of the people and farming land are astounding and and now its invaded our country with dire consequences for the health of the people and the health of our natural wonder in the Great Barrier Reef  as thats how they plan to get it out !

Nicole performs in the Kate Miller Heidke touring band as the backing guitarist &amp; vocalist &amp; also has recently performed promo performances as part of a new electro/pop project of Kate Miller Heidke's called Fatty Gets A Stylist.
Nicole released her debut EP ‘Stubborn Love’ independently  in  2010 and launched it as part of The United Tour which was a 6 week national tour show 4 individual artists from four states.  
Nicole was recently invited to join Sarah McLeod (Superjesus/Screaming Bikini) on tour as support along the East Coast and will be also supporting  Gossling in the coming months.

This track 'Swept' is written by Nicole Brophy &amp; Jodi Moore. The song is featured on my debut EP called 'Stubborn Love'. It was recorded &amp; produced by Nicole Brophy, Jodi Moore, Syd Green &amp; Mark Ludwig in studios both in Melbourne and on the South Coast of NSW.

Last year I was a part of a musical project called Satellite Cities.. As the vocalist for the group, my contribution was to make up melodies & record all vocals with lyrics mainly written by Russ Clark, Mark Ludwig & myself.. then record it over the backing made by Mark Ludwig and various other musos in Melbourne at Triplet Air Studios.
I loved being a part of the project as it took me out of my comfort zone melodically. lyrically & musically so it was a challenge & joy.
  
This is one of the first tracks I recorded vocals in Melbourne. 
It is written by Russ about the anticipation & joy of his new child being born.
