This was generative using the neural network from karpathy.github.io/2015/05/21/rnn-effectiveness/. I trained it by throwing a gigabyte of MIDI files at it; it has learnt musical theory from the ground up, including all the details of MIDI file syntax.

It produces a wide variety of musical styles. This is not one of its better pieces, but it does demonstrate the different kinds of music it will produce.

The name 'Sititr' was chosen by the neural network (I found it embedded in a MIDI track name marker).

Gotta say, I like how this one turned out though. Weird progression, but weird in a good way. Got to use my '66 Melody Maker's Bigsby to full effect in the verses, too, which was fun.
