Just like in 'Endoplasmic Underground' we used a lot of adhesive tape recordings to enhance the kick and make percussion. The melody hook is a layer of NI's Razor and a tweaked preset of NI's Kinetic Metal in Kontakt, a found sound based sample library. Somehow we got them in tune. =)

Cytoplasm is the fluid 'atmosphere' of the entire cell. It is essentially just salty water, the one drop of the ocean, that each and every living cell brought with it, on it's journey. Whereever that might be - still under water, on land, or high up in the sky.

"Instantes" is the new single by Derrok alongside Rodrigo Gallardo, blending electric guitars with Rodrigo's signature vocals and quena flutes. This collaboration marks a new chapter in their shared musical journey, which began with Dueños de la Cima (2017) and continued with their rendition of El Derecho de Vivir en Paz (2019). Instantes is part of Derrok’s upcoming album, which explores a faster and heavier sound while staying true to his organic and melodic essence.

The sound of a several, sticky pieces of tape was used to enhance the Kicks, and for all kinds of percussion. Also a basketball, whirling objects swung by a microphone. A reverse vibraphone and a few synths and sinewaves. Plus some funny drum sounds by Sonic Charge.

The endoplasm is the innermost part of the Cytoplasm. Just around the nucleus. The urbun area right around Time Square so to speak. The most traffic in all of the cell, where the fluid atmosphere becomes granular. This place is tight and alive, day and night.

I’ve been crafting music since 2004 starting with lo-fi bedroom recordings and a heart full of strange weather. These days, I blend dream pop, folktronica, ambient textures, drum machines and mythic storytelling into songs that explore memory, magic, and the sea.

Living on the Cornish coast, I draw deep from local folklore, spiritual journeys, and half remembered dreams. My work is shaped by place tides, ruins, starlit footpaths and by timeless themes of loss, wonder, and renewal.

Highlights include The Selkie EP, a shape-shifting folk tale in song, and The Pilgrim’s Path, my tenth album, tracing an inner and outer journey of transformation.
