This is a recording of my latest set at limial space. Starting with some chunky tribal drum and bass i move into some ragga bouncy sounds.

it´s already been a while I played this set and i guess its about time to upload it. Special thanks to the wobwob crew for hosting me and for sure everyone attending to the event. 

I do have a special relationship to the WobWob event in Hamburg. 15 years ago a friend of mine set up an event at Kampnagel hosting Hank shocklee and Keith as "the bomb squat". Both where formerly known as the producers of Public Enemy. I was into hip hop and rap music and on the guestlist. But the music they played was so not from this world. Slow, deep but highly energetic! I didnt know what it was, bought a CD and did a deep dive into my studio to reproduce what i was hearing. 
Weeks later i discovered the genre and found out about the wobwob partys in hamburg, the city I was living in. Back then there wasnt a single event i would miss, not at hafenklang, not at Fusion Festival, not at Waagenbau. 
These guys shaped my perspective on music and sound design a lot.  For years it was a little secret goal of mine to once play in their holy halls. I´m thankfull for inviting me, i had a blast!

This set is full of dark, chunky basslines with ragga vocals spun through it.

This retrospective anthology maps the progression of Aotearoa’s electronic music scene, with many then-emerging artists now firmly established stars.

This one features a bunch of my own productions plus a few heavier glitch hoppy tracks I dug up that were released recently that brough this mix to a light throw down.

Numa Crew are a collective of DJs, producers and MCs who are pioneers of the Italian Dubstep scene and one of the landmarks of the national underground music scene. Their musical research focuses on bass music, with influences that range from Dub & Reggae to Hip Hop and UK underground music.
