As the Summer draws to a close Serge Devant returns once more to Damian Lazarus’s Crosstown Rebels with the highly infectious ‘This Moment’ EP. Serge original tracks are accompanied by a great Dinky remix, to complete this great package.

Opening up the EP with ‘This Moment’, Devant has created a track that implores the listener to stop and take in all the vibrations, effects and melodies. This is a piece of music that intricately weaves together a hefty bass, curious sounds and an addictive horn. Pay close attention to ‘In Time’ and you will be absorbed once more in an enchanting world where all you can do is follow the rhythm of the drums. On the flip and Dinky adds her signature vocals, and hooky synth stabs creating a deep and textural remix of ‘This Moment’.

Kings of Tomorrow’s place in electronic music history is well assured. 
One of the alias’ for New York legend Sandy Rivera, K.O.T.(@sandy-rivera) helped define the early 90's New York house sound with a series of key releases that climaxed in 2001 with the global smash 'Finally' - truly one of the house music classics.
 
Happily, Sandy Rivera is still making killer, soulful house music and this latest release on Poker Flat Recordings continues to showcase his immeasurable talent for groove. 

‚Kaoz‘ comes along with a fine remix by the Swiss born DJ and producer Dario D’Attis (@dario-dattis-1), that perhaps draws on some the 90’s influence, that K.O.T. defined.

Argia is the new project of Helena Piti, a Spanish DJ and producer who has crossed over from a classic musical education to producing emotive electronic compositions. Having released on the likes of Stil Vor Talent, Mooseekaa and Poesie Musik, Helena delivers a new three-track EP for hafendisko. 

The Stay The Night EP was conceived and recorded at the end of 2018, during an intense creative period for the artist. Fully inhabiting her sound, the tracks concern themselves with the themes of balance and inner peace.
 
‘It’s Right To Cry’ is a deep, emotional slice of electronic dance music, wiry arpeggios wind their way around the thick, infectious beat. 

The title track ‘Stay The Night’ is a shade tougher, with a dramatic chord progressions and evocative field recordings punctuating the driving rhythm. 

The third track ‘Unreleased Thought’, makes up the trio - urgent percussive grooves lay the foundation for beautiful melodic flourishes courtesy of Argia’s well used Korg Monologue.

We are happy to welcome Bloem on Akbal Music with her stunning EP of mystic tribal affairs. Into Bloom has two original tracks and three remixes. Filled with exotic elements, hypnotic vocal samples , tribal percussion and weird sounds this a must for some good afro vibes.

In the remix side we have 3 massive remixes by Niko Schwind, Derun and Anastasia, all wonderfull interpretations in different ways.

Derun remix is a more balearic version of the original, filled with groovie patterns and folkloric guitars combined to create a beautiful vibe on the dancefllor.

The second remix comes from Anstascia (ex Blond:ish member) ideally for a party banger situation with delicate drum patterns, juicy groove elements, hypnotic hooks and rolling adventure. Already tested during the summer in Ibiza.

Last but not least we have the Stil vor Talent legend Niko Schwind providing a dreamy story of Inbewu perfect for a sunrise in the desert full of emotional elements but with an edgy vision , we are so honored to welcome Niko to the family.

All around a lovely package full of positive uplifting mystic conscious music.

We are turning the page of our next edition of 'Terra Incognita', the third edition full of different and diverse paths it can lead the listeners to. Starting we reveal Habischman - the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire's SCI+TEC and Get Physical. 'Aperture' comes as a great opener, conjuncted as a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, who is putting out his music lately with Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, can definitely make the synthesizers breathe. His 'Overdub' is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which are coming together as a great tune as a result. US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, so the stated words of Enamour to be a 'a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres' is perfectly describing this talented producer at his best. 'Pet Paradox' is a firm thing, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper 'Matka' next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. We close a pack with 'Hong Kong Harbour' track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE). This work, mainly exposing with the main detuned synth sound, is finishing the exploration of another Terra Incognita, which became known to you now. 'Freddie Frampton makes his debut on Hot Since 82’s acclaimed Knee Deep In Sound imprint with a mighty 3-tracker that follows on from the label boss’ key support for Frampton’s huge ‘Black Betty’. The London producer has a history that stretches back to working alongside legends like Carl Cox at seminal nightclubs in the capital in the early ‘90s, and his resurgent production career is seriously delivering the goods.

Infectious from the word go, ‘When You’re Alone’ kicks off with a loose, shuffling percussive groove punctuated by deft little techy synth notes. Rolling drums create more urgency as a filtered vocal loop slowly eases up. A snippet of a euphoric piano chord refrain gives a taste of what’s to come as the languidly grooving bassline drops in. The first break sees a powerful chord progression play out on the beautifully honed pianos before an unmistakable vocal sample drops in to add more drama. Monotone synth stabs arrive to build the groove further while heavily reverbered hits add atmospheric depths. It’s a big room sound but without being overblown. The pianos and vocals are allowed to take centre stage in the main break before we thrust headfirst back into the stripped-back groove.

'Miss Mouse' kicks off with shaker-style hi-hats and muffled flute notes. A galloping tribal rhythm soon kicks into life, with distorted toms thumping away under heavily swung wooden percussion. Trippy vocal samples arrive to build the atmospherics while throbbing bass note joins the fray. A mini breakdown sees Frampton get busy on his guitar, playing sorrowful chords with an almost flamenco flavour to them. “I’ve had a long love / hate relationship with the guitar throughout my life, and always wanted to fuse the guitar with house. I’ve built a nice little library of seriously old rare vocals which, so after some painstaking audio editing, I took a break, switched to the guitar and the main riff jumped right out at me.” The bluesy vocal reveals itself in ghostly fashion, filtering in and out of focus as the arrangement chops and changes. The haunting feel continues throughout the track as the vocal and guitars combine succinctly, with plenty of space between to let the rhythms flow. “This is the track I’m most proud of” he says. “I think it comes closest to summing up what I’m all about. Where does it fit in today's music scene? I have no idea, and I guess that's another reason why I'm so proud of it.”

Sharp hi-hats and infectious woodblock rhythms start to build the groove on melodic techno track ‘Shine’ before muted, atmospheric sounds and a commanding lead synth cut through the mix. A lead synth unfolds into a slow-burning melodic progression that’s tinged with darkness as tribal percussion builds a meatier groove. Slowly but surely the bass pressure increases as the brooding synth switches to a different pattern and heavenly female wailing takes the track higher. Delicate chord stabs lace the underbelly of the track as we’re plunged into the swirling breakdown, a masterclass in tension and release cuts sharply against the drop.

Hot Since 82 has been pushing Frampton’s sound for a while now, with huge reactions for some of his unreleased material that he dropped in recent sets such as at Cercle’s party in one of the ‘Game Of Thrones’ filming locations. This looks set to be a very fruitful relationship.'

Peak time tracks, warm up tracks, set closing tracks?tracks are everywhere, but the scene needs something more. As you know in our label, we really like to break the rules sometimes, so this time the label heads Peter Makto & Gregory S made something pretty different and we proudly release it at home.

Secret Passion is not a track, it is more like a song. The spirit of this music is Antonia Vai who is a Swedish singer-songwriter with Hungarian roots, born and raised in Stockholm, but she is a real bohemian soul and diva. She worked with Phonique and other great names too. Antonia's voice amazes everyone, because she is a real wizard. She wrote the lyrics and the guys worked on the grooves and melodies.

Peter & Greg were so into this project that they made several versions and of course we also wanted to have a well-known artist on the release, so we are more than happy to announce Kellerkind on our label as a remixer. Who is an honored and supported artist by the guys. They have been following him for years, this is another milestone for TSM to represent him. His remix is a smooth deep house in which the main theme is slowly building up. A real masterpiece, definitely one of the best underground tune in our label recently.

The original version was born right after the guys bought a Prophet 6 synth, so the whole synth and bass part is coming from that amazing machine.

Deep mix: epic deep sounds, ass shaking warm up stuff.

And of course, the guys produced an actual melodic house & techno version too, which is more like a face punching big room techno track? yes, a track because this scene love tracks and as you know? tracks are everywhere?
