Its been a while since I released my debut album „Smalltown Boy. Fortunately, the album is sold out, but sadly there is no more possibility to grab the Album digitally cause my distribution (as well as my old Studio Server with the Wav Master Files) went down.

When I listen to the Album today I still feel the thoughts and feelings I had back than in 2012. This is the reason why I decided to release the 320Kb Set as free and unlimited download.

Sein Debüt “You can´t put your Arms around the melody” war zu flüchtig. Die schnell gewonnen Fans seiner eigenwilligen Interpretation aus Techno, House &amp; Pop wollten mehr und bekamen es mit “Another Day”, sowie dem Release „ALMA“ auf Alex Nigemann´s Berliner Label SOULFOOLED. Doch nichts davon konnte die langersehnte Wartezeit auf mehr schmälern. Herausgekommen ist “SMALLTOWNBOY”, das erste Album von Kölns unkonventionellstem Produzenten im Bereich elektronischer Musik - David Hasert.

Auf der der ersten Single „ Repeat offender / The Aberration of Starlight“ zeigt David bereits wie breit sein Spektrum ist. Beide Tracks brillieren durch den Klang  analog – rauschender Maschinen während eine unbekannte väterliche Stimme  den Hörer durch die Lieder führt. Die Tracks von David Hasert waren schon immer so breit angelegt, dass offensichtliche Grenzen von House &amp; Techno, verschmelzen. Tracks die sich eigentlich alle in diesem resolut durchproduzierten, aber dennoch reduzierten Chicagosound mit einem guten Gespür für oldschool bewegen, aber dennoch durch die Dichte der Vocals und den Hang zur Melodie Köln, zeitgemäß repräsentieren.

hieß es unlängst in einer Kritik über„Repeat offender“ Die passenden dancefloor Remixe dazu stammen übrigens von den Berliner Ausnahmeproduzenten Re.You (Souvenir/Keinemusik) &amp; Nhan Solo (Semester Musik), die im letzten Jahren große internationale Erfolge feierten konnten und natürlich auch gern gesehen Gäste auf LIKE Parties waren. Ein unerwarteter zweiter Frühling beginnt 2012 für alle die Techno einmal anders sehen wollen.
