Reframed Future (Sebo & David Dorad Remix)

For Casomat's second release we're extremely happy to welcome Berlin duo Man & Wife to the label, who contribute two diverse originals served together with a remix by Johannes Klingebiel.

Man & Wife, originally from England, have spent the last 7 years in the Techno-Hauptstadt, not only honing their production skills but also developing their musical tastes, drawing in influences from all over the electronic spectrum. They describe their sound as "fundustrial dischno" and it's not hard to see why when you hear their varied productions.

'Blonde' is an understated four-to-the-floor number, sitting on the border between house &techno and elegantly pairing soul & melody with raw & almost industrial sounding drums. An interesting combination which bridges the gap between styles not normally heard together.

Stepping up to rework 'Blonde' is Johannes Klingebiel, whose recent releases include a 12" on Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space and an LP on his own 'ancient future now' imprint. He lays a garage-influenced groove and a bouncy bassline under the main arp from the original, with plenty of lush reverbs, spacey delays and tasteful distortion to boot.

My very  first album , Resona, is a sonic journey through different resonances. Fully recorded in Guadalajara, Resona is the combination of brass with jazz and electronic influences. 

Over the past two years, i'v visited Guadalajara seven times to record different types of sounds and vibration. From the mystical trombon, to the edgy trumpet, and the low frequency Tuba as well as vocals and drums, Maga mixed these different sounds with an electronic edge. 

The objective was to create an easy listening album that would touch multiple generations and ethnicities.

El Mundo and Flowers on Monday debut on Sirin Music with ¨Silent Words¨. El Mundo has been a part of the electronic music scene for around two decades playing music, producing his own and even launching a record label “Quetame”. And teaming up with a hotly-anticipated German duo Flowers on Monday worked great for him again. Their music with a soothing foundation and a magical finish - one that implements our appreciation for the little things, which imprint themselves in our heart and memory. Built out of electronica with organic roots, in the form of live instruments and vocals, this project transfers the listener to forgotten places.

"Silent Words" has that special Berlin feeling”, Flowers on Monday say. “Would be a great opening track at an underground club there. "WHite Wings" is that perfect fragile B-side on the EP which lets you dream away”. Two original tracks plus two remixes. One by already a part of Sirin Music family — Raw Main.
