Everyday life is often filled with many small anxieties that we deal with by simply pretending they do not exist.
Sometimes they thicken beyond the horizon of our field of vision, turning into a sense of impending danger, a floating leviathan, an immense bird of prey hiding in the clouds above the skyscrapers ready to grab us. Our only defence is to try to ignore it, hoping that oblivion will slowly devour it, relegating it to another plane of existence.
And sometimes, it is simply like dreaming of suffocating...

Po pěti letech od vydání ambientního alba Meeting with Experiencing, které mi pomáhalo vyrovnat se s prvním rokem abstinence, jsem se rozhodl jej zremixovat. Tento proces mi umožnil reflektovat, jak jsem se za tu dobu změnil a posunul dál – nejen jako umělec, ale i jako člověk.

Původní album neslo otisk mých prvních dvou let abstinence, které byly nesmírně náročné. Úzkost v něm byla všudypřítomná a chvíle uvolnění jen krátkodobé. Po šesti letech abstinence jsem však klidnější, sebevědomější a především šťastnější – a to vše se promítlo i do této nové verze alba.

Děkuji, že si na něj najdete čas. 🙏

silent whispers through a fiery storm

Recorded sounds provide a rich and extensive palette of colors and textures.  I like to glean what I can from single short samples of sound.  I particularly like squeaks and creaks.  Lately, I've become enamored with the enormous selection of vinyl records available on archive.org.
