Considering that society is asleep, (me included) the current situation would be an influenced dream. The sounds from outside intervene directly in your subconscious.
In this work I intend to make a simile. I am asleep socially and listen to the news of distant wars and inhuman disasters. And it stays at that, a small trip to a nightmare.
We're one red button away from being woken up. Still, happy dreams!
Note for animalists. The dog was not injured while he was filming this scene. He was just drunk from the anesthetic they had given him to fix a broken nail.The owner of the dog was also not harmed, but was also drugged.
Note to animals: If you're a dog, I'd love to know what the lyrics to this song say and if you'd like to do the backing vocals. If you are another pet, I would like to see your reaction. I am sure you will find this piece interesting.
Note to optimists: this piece is not meant to be pessimistic, it is just trying to reflect an objective and true point in history. If I don't do it, someone else will tell my story.

Recorded sounds provide a rich and extensive palette of colors and textures.  I like to glean what I can from single short samples of sound.  I particularly like squeaks and creaks.  Lately, I've become enamored with the enormous selection of vinyl records available on archive.org.
