Herrera caught the music bug at an early age when his father returned from England armed with all the popular music from the 60’s & 70’s.  Whilst growing up listening to the likes of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, David Bowie and The Beatles among numerous others.  His passion for music developed into visiting the Hacienda, at the time the biggest club in his home country of Tenerife.

Hooked on acid house, Herrera was inspired by watching the likes of Dan Technici, Alex Arnout, Mr C and Steve Foster. Transfixed; the decision was already made that no other career would do!

Fast forward to 2010 and Herrera has become one of Europe's most in demand DJs and one of Spains best known exports. 

Playing arguably the worlds best clubs – Space Ibiza at the closing party of 2011 is undoubtedly a highlight of his career.  This year, we will also see Herrera grace the decks in Singapore, Italy, Morrocco, France and Switzerland amongst numerous other countries.  He was based in Ibiza for 12 years and every summer was the resident for Bora Bora and Usuahia.  Also appearing in many guest spots at Space and Privilege (the world’s largest club).

Back in 1991, Herrera was playing a small bar in Tenerife when the owner of The Hacienda happened to walk in. He was immediately offered a gig at the afterparty. Suitably impressed; a residency was offered on the spot.

The last 16 years have seen him progress from the small clubs to the largest in the world. It was after having nowhere left to play in Tenerife that Herrera packed his bags and moved to London. It was this association and exposure to the electronic music of the time that promoted Herrera to take yet another move in 2000.  This time to the Mecca of clubbing; Ibiza!

Almost immediately the gigs started flowing and the bookings were flooding in, starting with the small bars and was soon spotted and requested by the big  club promoters. It was at that point that he was noticed by the promoter of Gorgeous who offered him a gig on the terrace of Amnesia. It was after this storming set that Herrera was immediately asked to play at the after party at Space the very same day!  Which is unique in itself and speaks volumes for Herrera’s raw talent.

Over the years Herrera has played every club and Superclub in Ibiza, across Europe, at some of the most desirable clubs which include; Discotec in Barcelona, Ministry in Ámsterdam, Friends in Valencia to name just a few, not to mention appearances in many other countries across the globe which include; Brazil, Columbia, Miami and Argentina amongst others. 

Herrera has shared the decks with the all the top players like Erick Morillo, Steve Lawler, Seth Troxler, Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Sasha and Darren  Emerson. The list is endless and is testament to the quality of Herrera..s music which spans the House genre from Deep grooves to Tech house and Electro and Techno. The early acid house influence still shines clear in Herrera’s music and it is clear this man has years of experience at the highest level and is set to go even higher.

You could also see Herrera with his massive club hit ROCKIN DA CROWD (Cr2 Records) and the remix of SHOW ME LOVE (White Island Records) as he returned in Ibiza as its top resident DJ.

Now you can catch him playing in Bali, Indonesia in clubs like La Favela, Mexicola, Tropicola and other hot island gigs.

Herrera's still is one of the best Dj’s on the white isle (ibiza) and in Bali.
