Welcome, Today it’s Thursday the 30th of October 2014, and we want to thank Rutger Maree for his epic set on the Drone Podcast. Recovered from ADE we have a very special edition in store for you again, we are thrilled to have this Techno minded Hero on this weeks show. A young man with a bright future ahead of him. Packed with talent and lots of experience in Techno and House music. His skills and interests are combining acoustic sounds like the piano with hardware to create his 
own house and techno sound. From a young age he was inspired by music such as Jazz, Soul, Blues and Funk that made him start to play the piano. While discovering his love for techno music and for house music a long time ago, he also found his love for hardware, producing and performing. A big talent with lots of experience. This year he will have all his focus on the one great love: Techno music.

This is the second live set on the Drone Podcast. Performing with his Roland Juno 106 and MFB-522, he works with only his own productions and tracks. This hero loves to go wild with chopped up kicks, drums, stabs, hats, synths and so much more. He is known for his dynamic sets and for always pushing himself. A true perfectionist and performer in his heart and in his soul.

We are also very proud to say announce he is working hard on his first vinyl release that will be released in January 2015 on Nighttripper label from Techno pioneer https://soundcloud.com/orlando-voorn. Definitely an artist to follow. And don’t worry. He will be around.

Biography
David Hülsken, born in Bussum, a village right under Amsterdam, began his musical journey at a young age. Inspired by Jazz, Soul, Blues and Funk he began to play piano. He soon noticed his talent, he joined several bands and ended up working in a piano store which allowed him to play piano all day.

His first Awakenings visit back in 2002 impressed and motivated him to start organizing his own parties and also change his way of making music. When moving to Utrecht he bought his first pair of turntables and vinyl and started to perform as a DJ under the alias David Art. Together with DJ Wesdex and Hidde Pluymert he started to organize the infamous party
called Magnetronik in Utrecht-residence Poema.

2014 will be dedicated to the release of some tracks with his new dubby detroity Techno sound!

David Hulsken (Small Solar System Body) has positioned himself at the cutting edge of today’s rapidly evolving Techno scene. With his different aliases he’s creating different styles, from Detroit/Dub/Ambient techno to driving techno.

Besides his DJ sets, David’s wild musical heart really starts to show in his live performances, which can be described as utterly mind blowing. His intricate set-up of analog synths, drum computers, machines and controllers are breathtaking just to look at. This combined with David’s inexhaustible energy, the affable gearhead can take up complete control of a crowd, taking them to that perfect sweet spot like few artists can. It's because the most important thing for David is to create a lasting connection with the crowd in front of him, one that lingers long after the last beat has been played.
