"Three-Fifths" is a song about the cost of being viewed as subhuman. Armed with powerful rhymes from upstate NY spitter Sammus and rich production from her NuBlack Music Group labelmate, D Nilsz, this track forces listeners to remember those who have paid the ultimate price for being black in America. Above all, "Three Fifths" reminds us that black people are whole even though they are often treated like three-fifths of a human by law enforcement.

The song will be featured on the soundtrack of the forthcoming Independent film "Rodney."

Leave A Trace (Four Tet Remix)

Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho make up Acid Arab, the Parisian-based duo who combine a love for acid house with the sounds and cultures of the Middle East. It's a fusion that runs deeper than just uniting a western beat with an eastern sample; they blend Arabic musical language and analogue techno devices, to create a unique form of dance music.

Starting life as a concept, Acid Arab morphed from a Facebook group to a party and now releases records and compilations that pays homage to their unique amalgamation of sounds and textures. Following a series of compilations and V/A EPs on Versatile Records, Guido and Hervé return to the label with their first solo EP titled Djazirat El Maghreb. A tribute to North African music, the three-track release looks to three countries in the region and with 'Halfa (Instrumental)', the focus falls on Algeria. The track also features Algerian keyboard artist Kenzi Bourras, who plays live with Acid Arib and comes packed with an alaoui beat, traditional to a lot of old chaabi songs and familiar to any new fans of Omar Souleyman.

"Honored to add some beats, bass, synths reworking "A Tear To A Smile", one of the tracks by Roy Ayers I prefere. 
I can't help but play some instruments when tracks inspires me, so at the end of my "Smiling A Tear" version there's a flute impro I played, trying to be connected with the original track .. and .. it was exciting to find myself hiding a bit the flute level to amalgamate it with the rest of the band. Playing some nice synths and pianos was exciting as well."

Approximately Infinite Universe is a double album by Yoko Ono, released in early 1973. It represents a departure from the experimental avant-garde rock of her first two albums towards a more conventional pop/rock sound, while also dabbling in feminist rock. 

The 1997 CD re-issue on Rykodisc added two acoustic demos of songs from this era that were later released on 1981's Season of Glass.
