David keesey is an independent recording and performing artist. His guitar sound draws influence from Rock, Folk-rock, the Blues, psychedelic rock, Punk, Noise, and improvisational rock. Keesey has recorded and performed in the New York City music scene since 2001. Scrappy in his creativity, and compelled to record it,  Keesey taught himself to record on an analogue 4-track. His recordings from 2006-2008 are often improvisations, layers of raw guitar/ bass, and moody first-takes hastily recorded in the spirit of self-expression and creating art. In 2020, Keesey dusted off the four track and began work on some new recordings during the period of social distancing in New York City. More recently, David has been dabbling in Ableton Live.
