Anjunabeats favourite Amy Wiles joins forces with rising talent Leena Punks on ‘Sweet Feeling’.

Amy Wiles started her DJ career at 16, and has played for us at Group Therapy 450, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, The Warehouse Project and at Anjunabeats club nights across London. She’s racked up over 1M streams on Spotify on her debut single, ‘Biding Time’, which was released in June 2021 as part of the Anjunabeats Rising series, and has remixed Above & Beyond, Kyau & Albert, Farius and gardenstate. 

This year, Amy dropped her remix of Tenth Planet’s ‘Ghosts’ with Boxer and supported Above & Beyond at iconic London venue Printworks. She’s set to follow that up with an appearance at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender festivities at The Gorge on July 21-23, Anjunabeach Brighton, and more. Leena Punks made her Anjunabeats debut with ‘On The Floor’ as part of our Rising EP series last year. It became one of two Leena Punks tracks to feature as BBC Radio 1’s ‘Hottest Record’, earning support from MEDUZA, Gorgon City, MK and more. This year, Leena dropped a single on SUB-X Recordings, two singles on Material Music and remixed Le Youth’s ‘Chills’.

Two established artists who have broken the mould within their respective scenes come together on DFTD for the understated club cut ‘Starlightway’. Since his Defected debut ten years ago, Flashmob has turned his signature sound - digital music with an analogue twist - into a brand, creating an eponymous label and radio show in addition to building an impressive discography. Berlin-based DJ and producer DASCO has been on a rich vein of form of late. Through releases via her own Bisexuality Exists label and Shall Not Fade, she’s quickly captured the imagination of a host of clued-in ravers. Her latest, ‘Feel My Love’ sees her return to the aforementioned Bisexuality Exists; and it’s one that sees the producer in arguably her best form yet.

Inspired by classic UK house as much as it is epic synths and ‘90s acid lines, it blends all these elements together into an inspired concoction of ravey goodness. “The track”, says DASCO, is “about feeling love, sharing love, and that love is always the eventual winner”. Uplifting, energetic and diverse, it’s exactly the sort of slamming house tune that DASCO herself would reach into her cosmic bag for.

Alongside a vocal refrain whereby DASCO asks, “Can you feel my love?”, this is sumptuous peak-time house music that quite brilliantly wears its influences on its sleeve. ‘Feel My Love’ draws on a range of classic and contemporary sounds, but does so extremely well. Full of boundless positivity throughout, it’s a full-bodied dancefloor track, and one which is sure to leave the listener yearning for more.

The Joker is back with his latest single! On August 18th, his upcoming single "Vienna" will be released. This time, the German producer and DJ has enlisted prominent support. Malena Narvay, the talented all-around artist from Argentina, provides the vocals for the new single. As a highlight, Boris Brejcha will release an official music video, which was shot in the Austrian capital city of Vienna, in collaboration with the 26-year-old singer and actress.
Vienna, the city where the accordion originates from, plays a significant role in the new single. Although it is only sporadically used, the accordion gives the song a distinctive touch and a lightness in the beat that directly invites you to dance. The vocals support this mood with the message that one is the music itself and feels it directly.
