Remix of the traditional irish Linen Mill song - The Doffing Mistress. Live improvised performance at Profound Sound, Folkestone Feb 2016. Created using punch card, music box mounted on a wooden box, Jez Riley French contact mic, metal ruler. Cut up, sampled, looped, fx in Abelton Live.
Basically playing the whole machine and box to make it sound like the sea, insects, static, bells, spanish guitar, drums, looms and other machines.
