Why not the sax and trumpet in unison at this point? I might be suggesting stuff that isn't in the 'style' -- I dunno the Crusaders.

@david-matthew-gray: No reason? That's a tricky path to go down semantically, because surely the entire thing is pointless. Us musicians eh? Well, from an arrangement point of view, I feel like I had heard this bit enough. I mean, repetition is to be expected but hearing it one more time at this point made me kinda think 'I got it already' -- just my two SENSE.

Key changes for no reason are goofy and the intent was to have each horn on their own--that's just the way it iiiis.

I absolutely love this part. You must have put tons of effort in this section. Makes me cry every time.

Funky Pie Pt 2

This track is the result of my first proper attempt at creating a mix for my degree's production assignment.  Unlike the terrible assignments before it, this one has been tremendously fun and I feel privileged to have worked with some highly talented and committed peers.

The track is a jazz-funk arrangement of the Starlight Zone BGM, from 'Sonic the Hedgehog,' with a vague nod to The Crusders--perhaps a flimsy attempt to emulate the style, but my heart was in the right place.   From writing the arrangement and mixing a rough indication, to recording and pouring entire days of cumulative studio time into the mix, the the entire process has been a tremendous nostalgia trip.  I hope that you enjoy listening to this as much as I did while creating it.
