For our fifth episode, we invited a very special guest to join us who we haven’t jammed with in well over a year, the one and only KEN LAZEE, a certified DC drum & bass legend. What ensued was 3+ hours of B2B vibes with seamless selections, crossing all genres of drum & bass and packed full of brand new music and timeless classics. This was easily our best show yet and the vibes were simply unmatched! Due to some difficulties we captured only 2hr. 15 mins of the mix, but this cut is straight fire – so give this one a listen and let us know what you think in the comments!

The Sunday Night Skankout is a mix series from DC-area natives Harper, Julz (Rude Operator), and Kinetiks MC that takes place every 3rd Sunday of the month from a range of locations.. You can pop this mix on for a long drive, a proper gym session or run, or while you are working. Keeping the energy level up and the beats fresh, this one rolls in rotation.

On SkankOut#South 05.2021

With 3VS’s second EP the group appear to be questioning what genre labels mean. From the halftime jungle of the title track the trio of Monika, Akuratyde, and Tellus are clearly making a statement. Pulsing bass and breaks build the foundation for chopped vocals and hip-hop inspired synths, building to an incredible and unexpected melodic changeup. In “Monuments” ascendant synths glide along footwork rhythms atop a bed of dreamy atmospherics. Frequent label collaborators Jaskin & Uneven bring their signature synth work to the autonomic odyssey of “Pulse Notes”. Lastly, “Autumn Leaves” sees the group exploring a different tempo with a vibrant and restless track that sits somewhere between techno and garage. 

In Love EP is available on all digital & streaming platforms June 18th.
