Dreamy aesthetics intertwine with dancefloor athletics in Several Definitions’ You Are Not Alone EP. The title track emerges via a slow paced wandering bassline, making for a gradually immersive intro. Padded with ethereal synths and aerial whizzes, Alone’s dreaminess increases tenfold showcasing the artist’s crafty melodic side. Hatzler jumps in on the remix, kicking off with a bumping bassline from the get-go. Injecting bass and grit is one of his known production traits, and he manages to give Alone a straightforward, still dreamy yet solid groove appeal.

Dubfire and Oliver Huntemann reunite for the second part of their Elements series next month with ‘Humano’, which will be released through Senso Sounds on Friday 2nd September.

The single prefaces the pair’s ‘Retrospectivo’ album, which is due later this year, and is a tough, tight and driving slice of techno that will ignite dancefloors.

Long-time executive producer for label boss Oliver Huntemann and other artists, André Winter is also the man behind a number of prolific underground projects and releases sind 1995. Most recently André focusses on releases under his real name and now he drops his third tough-as-nails EP on Senso Sounds - both tracks primed for serious mainroom detonation.
'Argo' builds the tension expertly, before whipping us into delirium via deep synth bass tones that will shake club systems worldwide. The sound design is exceptional, provi- ding plenty of space in the mix amongst the groove. 'Norse' increases the BPM a notch or two, and delivers a hypnotic, loopy groove built around tightly programmed drums and an infectious melodic line. Once the huge lead synth lands, you can see why this is destined to melt some minds on discerning dancefloors this year.

Chaty & Tamez aka Alberto Ortega and Hector Tamez made their debut in the electronic music scene in 2014, with 'My Scape' on David Seaman's Selador and then followed up with a release entitled 'Depopulation' on Suruba Records. They have since released on Fade Records, Sincopat, Dialtone, Union Jack, and Eklektisch. Chaty & Tamez come forth with a 6 track EP on Anathema Records by the name of 'Fake Voices' with remixes by John Tejada, Several Definitions, and Anathema Records founders, Alerch & Fec.

The first track in the EP goes by the name, 'Introspection' and starts off with a nice and steady beat and undertones that eventually coalesce with a delicate melodic build that continues to triumph. The title track, 'Fake Voices' follows suit creating an otherworldly atmosphere purveying an emotive element. The 3rd original track in this 6 track EP, goes by the name 'Hell Go' and begins with a bit of a faster pace before presenting spacey undertones and a very unique sound.

John Tejada puts forth a catchy and groovy remix of 'Introspection' in the last part of the EP adding a few more melodious traits and less pauses and build up. Several Definitions follow up to John's remix turning 'Fake Voices' into a Techno track that continuously chugs along. The otherworldly atmospheric outlays are stripped a bit and altered resting on top of a steady, infectious bassline. Alerch & Fec then finish off the EP with their rendition of 'Hell Go' with a steady, driving pace that surely will get the dancefloor moving and listeners nodding their head. The instrumentals are duly placed accompanying the addictive melodies.

Mainz rooted duo Matchy and Bott serve up three dancefloor heaters for their “Battle Boii” EP.
A traveling bassline opens up the eponymous track, while dramatic synth leads slowly unfold into a dreamy, laid back melody. The ascending groove is slow paced yet intricate, constructing a perfect setting for subtle transitions. On the other side of the melodic spectrum, Ocean surprises with a juxtaposition of gloom and wandering indie vocals. Playful harmonic keys alternate dark synths, forming a looming, ever-approaching backdrop that’s a perfect tension builder. Enrolled for the remix, Lars Moston injects more bass into Ocean’s already high-strung framework. Distorting the original vocals and pairing them with equally contorted synths, the track comes as a powerful floor mover that’s equally dancy as the original.

'Nevermind' - is Victor Ruiz doing what he does best - exploring track dynamics within a perfectly developed journey - including an unsettling and trippy vocal that lifts the track even further towards the stars. André Winter has been working under various collaborative pseudonyms and diverse aliases while shaping the sound of today's club scene. Since starting to release under his own name in 2005, Winter has found regular homes on Ideal Audio and now Senso Sounds. Delivering a double header on this release, Winter proves he remains ahead of the pack. 'Cascadeur' is a techno bomb - deep and driving with plenty of attitude. The thick bass tones rumble through the track, while a trippy vocal adds another dimension for the dancers. 'Fléaux' is cut from the same cloth - a companion piece to 'Cascadeur' that uses the same sound palette to create another twist on Winter’s blueprint. Both tracks are set to cause serious disturbance in basements and main rooms throughout the year.

A pumping club weapon, the  title track opens proceedings, pairing Patois MC samples with raw, Chicago-influenced house.
