I have fun remixing my own songs, I gotta say. Kind of crazy how often I do it, actually, haha. But hey, it always sounds WAY different than the original, and I enjoy putting a new spin on it, so what the hecky-lecky.

This one is supposed to be a "Future Bass" remix (that's a genre, FYI). I'm not SUPER familiar with the genre, so if you're really into Future Bass and you say "Hey this isn't TECHNICALLY Future Bass".......well I don't care. Anyway, hope you enjoy this! I kept it relatively stripped-down and simple, and I think that adds to the shock factor when compared to my original mix. Let me know what you think of it! I always like reading y'all's comments. Another archive piece from Fisherman & Hawkins is under the spotlight again at Coldharbour, as rising talent Dave Neven applies his delicately melodic touch towards a 2017 take on Antidote. 

This year has been the Los Angeles native's most productive outing on the Coldharbour Recordings label to date, which has already featured an oustanding instrumental led Darkside EP, and complimented with his freshman vocal piece Breathing Again. 

Whilst the original version by Fisherman & Hawkins was a darker and tech driven affair, Neven takes it on a more uplifting interpretation, and one that has raised the interest in Global DJ Broadcast listeners over the past couple of months. One that's worth checking out for your sets, Antidote is a welcome remedy.

It is time to bring on the best possible shoes you can get, as we today bring back one of our long time favorites on the label, Norwegian ace Ethillas join back on PHW with another storming production. This one named after the moon of Neptune, “Triton”. For those that been around over the years knows the ability of Ethillas and what is about to come, melodic grooves and energetic progressive sounds that match perfectly. It’s always a joy to bring back the sounds of Ethillas, and we are certain he will send you on a journey here as well. 

To spice things up, we see a great variety of friends to us running the label with label co-worker Infinity State taking the first spot to make a rework. As you always see from the US bound producer, he take things his own way, and this time you see a more downbeat production being produced. With a great blend of originality, a forward thinking way of producing, he definitely builds “Trition” to something of his own here. It’s a fine thing for us, to expect the unexpected and it is definitely what Pil brought on today with this warm and magical interpretation of “Triton”. Superb stuff from a great guy. 

We are equally pleased to see the return from Canadian Minicied who once again join us at PHW for another rendition. He delivers in full flare as always, giving the remix package a real treat with his progressive trance touch. Rolling chord progressions, big bass lines and a warm atmosphere together with a melodic serenade of sounds see him deliver at the top of his A-game once again. He is definitely one to watch for 2018, as he is making more and more echoes around the globe with his superb touch. 

Last out is another installment on the label, as we see Rod Veldt return home to PHW again. We are as happy as ever seeing him join us again of course with his 2 different takes on the original ideas from Ethillas. 

First up is a vocal production, where we see him add on some familiar vocals that is available to use. It’s a clever production, where he deliver with a bit more pace than the previous versions. It is a high energy production from the Brazilian that oozes a full dance floor. You will also see him deliver it as a “Dub” for those of you, wanting the full stretch of instrumental. It’s a joy to have him back together with the boys!
