My artist name is Stori. I choose that name for myself because I have always been a writer since a very young age. Most my writing was poetry which later on became lyrics as my strong love for music developed, obviously poetry and lyrics are one in the same. I love a variety of genres but my heart is set with R&B and Hip Hop/Rap. Throughout my years some of my biggest admirations would include; Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Brandy, Ashanti, Mary J, Eve, Trina,Tupac, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Nicki Minaj.( of course that list is extremely much longer). My sole purpose for finally deciding to record and release my music is because of the happiness and excitement it brings to my life creating such a euphoric outlet on so many levels. My hope is that some of my music can bring that same level of happiness or pleasure to other people as well. 

Coming up in around the south eastern U.S. RtZ-ELV came to be in a office in downtown Baton Rouge, after a chance telephone meeting with his now friend/co-founder/producer/engineer Apollo during which the two had a heated discussion on topics ranging from religion, existentialism, society and artist expression. That following Friday night Apollo and RtZ got to work and what was  created gave the vision to produce music that connects us back to who are under the facade. To make meaningful music that inspires others to take action by bringing a positive reality packed bar scheme that gives the people what the want without compromising the message. You are the designer of your fate.
